What's that? Where can I find it? The LEC MIB is a SNMP MIB for managing LAN Emulation Clients. It is used in conjunction with MIB-II / RFC 1573 to provide configuration management, fault management, and performance management functions. The MIB is defined as part of ATM Forum/94-0737R2 -- "LAN Emulation Client Management: Straw Ballot Specification", written by yours truly. If your organization is a member of the ATM Forum, you can find the document under the /atm/contributions/atm94 directory of the Forum FTP server site (which you will need a Forum-supplied username and password to access). Because the specification is not yet final, it is currently not publically available. Once it has been approved, I expect that the ATM Forum will make it available through the same channels as the LAN Emulation specification.
