The GDC card is just a circuit emulation card, but with a G703 line card connected
to it you can connect a PBX. Using this card, I have connected two telephones
across a two switch ATM network. The telephones were connected to the circuit
emulation card using multiplexors, when the multiplexors were connected back to back,
there was no delay in the voice, but across the network a very small delay was
noticeable.

BTW I have heard that ALCATEL are playing with an ATM ready PBX.
