Nara International Symposium on "Emerging Multimedia Community through 
ATM Networking"

Sponsored by The ATM Forum Japan Market Awareness Committee

Objective:  ATM plays an important role to implement a various range of 
multimedia communication services.  In emerging information community 
by introducing these services, what kind of benefits can be expected and 
what kind of issues are anticipated?  Facing the future issues,  how  do 
we solve them?.... The clue  may be in the symposium.

The symposium,  sponsored by The ATM Forum Japan Market Awareness 
Committee (JMAC)*,  is designed to discuss hot issues in multi-media 
services for network designers, users and the people concerned, 
exchanging their opinions and enriching their knowledge.

*JMAC was established on November 22, 1993, as a regional ATM Forum 
committee, focusing on promoting the identification of ATM applications 
and provide educational services for the acceleration of acceptance and 
implementation of ATM technology and applications.  In keeping with The 
ATM Forum globalization policy, JMAC is expanding its activities through 
collaboration with other regional ATM Forum committees.

Language:  The official language of the symposium is English. 
(Simultaneous interpretation is available. )

Registration Fee:  Japanese Yen 30,000.-  (including a copy of 
conference record, refreshments,  lunches and dinners during the 
symposium period)

Notes:  1) Special discount is applied for students.
        2) Registration will be accepted from March 1, 1995. 

Social Diary: Welcome Reception  in the New Public Hall Garden, 
beginning at 17:45 and lasting until 19:30 on Wednesday, May 24. (In 
case of raining, it will be held at the Reception Hall on the 2nd 
floor.)

        Dinner Party  at the Reception Hall on the 2nd floor on 
Thursday, May 25, beginning at 17:45 and lasting until 19:30.)
