OK, if I understand the above correctly, here is what I thing you want at each
port on your WAN that needs the above capabilities:

     A cisco A100 ATM switch and a cisco 7000/7010 router with ATM interface.

The ATM switch has up to 16 ports.  One port is your WAN port and one port
hooks to the router.  That leaves up to 14 ports to hook to ATM workstations.

Obviously, the ATM based workstations can switch into the regular LAN by
way of the cisco 7000 (or 7010, if that is a better fit).
