Phil,

Our consulting firm deploys ATM in the WAN arena all the time.  We just
finished a 50 city deployment for a telecommunications carrier.  On the
network they are moving both voice and data.  The classic problem of
buffering when mixing IP and voice applies.  If you have a specific question
or questions I would be happy to bounce them to the engineers our firm.
They are much better qualified than I to answer those questions.
