MPOA and IPX?

I noticed that the implementation of IPX routing in the MPOA specification
is very vague. It lists the PDU formats, but does not talk about the
equivalent of direct VC shortcutting from MPC to MPC, nor does it talk about
an equivalent of the NHRP for IPX to accomplish this shortcutting.

Does MPOA just assume the MPS is an old fashioned one armed IPX RIP/SAP
router that does no NHRP or shortcutting for IPX? Pehaps the goal of the
spec. was to provide performance for TCP/IP coupled with standard on armed
routing of IPX.

Thanks for your thoughts,
