my understanding is that the ATM1 firmware motorola sells
for m68360 only turns one of the SCCs into ATM PHY. does
anyone know that it also does SAR? i doubt this, as i
have gotten different information from motorola.

both. i have a m68360 that has T1 and ethernet interface
which works fine currently (i use frame-relay over T1).
i want to add ATM support for T1 for exsiting product,
as well as plan on designing a new hardware (powerQUICC
based, probably) which also does ethernet and T1 (and
possibly more) with ATM support.

anyone out there with similar experiences?
