Multiplexing on router WAN interface using Nx64k timeslots on E1

Hello,
I have a question regarding router WAN interface in general.

The question is:
Are routers in general able to support multiplexing of traffic using PPP
over Nx64k timeslots within an E1? In other words, similar to the idea of
Frame Relay but instead of having DLCI's we have channels within an E1.

E.g. We have an E1 connection available to a router say RouterA with E1 WAN
port, we dedicate say timeslots 1-15 to another router, say RtouerB and the
rest 17-31 to a third router say RouterB. Similarly for RouterB and RouterC
i.e.

                           ------ ====RouterB
                          /       |
RouterA ======         |
                          \------ ====RouterC

E1 line : ====

I would appreciate any router expert's response out there.

Thanks in advance.

Anthony
