Does anybody ever tired to do LAN Emulation across WAN especially using
3Com Corebuilder 7000 (CB7K) and 3Com PathBuilder S600 before?
Any tips or advice on that?
Currently we have three remote sites that are connected to our central
office
using public ATM services. We have subscribed a distinct PVP to each
remote
site. We have setup a VP (point-to-point) tunnel from the central CP7K
to
each location by setting up a distinct VPI connection to the S600 access
switch.
We have also establised a mulitcast VP tunnel (point-to-multipoint) when
connecting the central CP7K and S600. But it seems that the S600
can only replicate the multicast VCC not mulitcast VP so we cannot
manage to pass through the p2m calls through the WAN. Could anybody
who have used the S600 or have similar experience before kindly
give us advice on that? Thanks!
