Eventually, Mobile IP can be layered on WATM location service. Each mobile terminal will have a static home address used as point of contact and a dynamically allocated foreign address assigned by the location service. Data are tunnelled thru from the home to the foreign address. This document, ATM Forum/96-1699/WATM, is a good place to start.
