They have multiple opportunities for the following: Paging Systems RF Controller Software & Test Engineers Education/Experience BSc or MSc required Packet switching experience in gateways and switches Extensive knowledge of OOD/OOA techniques C, C++ programming skills required Strong understanding of Software Development process and SEI requirements Solid real time programming concepts and skills Knowledge of POCSAG, FLEX, and ReFLEX Paging protocols and/or ERMES Capabilities/Attitudes Strong individual contributor with good team skills Able to multi-task and work effectively with general guidance toward objectives Good interpersonal skills and a dedication to Total Customer Satisfaction Some travel may be required ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------- Senior Software Engineer Job Description Specification, design, and implementation of software for a CDMA Packet Data Gateway Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle of this new project including integration, product verification support, and customer support Education/Experience Minimum BSc in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required Five to seven years development experience using C or C++ in a UNIX (preferably Solaris 2.X) environment, STREAMS programming, and multi-threaded programming is required Desirable skills include: ATM (AAL-5), ISDN, CDMA, sockets/TLI, PRI, BRI, POSIX, RLP, and Lynx OS Experience in the wireless data field is also an asset Capabilities/Attitudes Strong individual contributor with good team skills Able to multi-task and work effectively with general guidance toward objectives Good interpersonal skills and a dedication to Total Customer Satisfaction Some travel may be required Technical Lead Job Description Provide technical leadership in the development of a CDMA Packet Data Gateway, including: solicitation and documentation of requirements, preparation of high level designs participation in requirements, design, and code reviews contribute to the project planning process and ensure project milestones are achieved Education/Experience Minimum BSc in Computer Science or Computer Engineering At least five years experience in the development of telecommunications network products Software architecture design experience is a must Experience with one or more of the following is required: ATM (AAL-5), sockets/TLI, ISDN, PRI, BRI, CDMA, RLP, STREAMS, POSIX, multi-threaded programming, and Lynx OS Experience in the wireless data field is also desireable Capabilities/Attitudes Strong individual contributor with good team skills Able to multi-task and work effectively with general guidance toward objectives Good interpersonal skills and a dedication to Total Customer Satisfaction Some travel may be required Positions are: 1 Technical Lead, 2 Sr. S/W Engineers, 3 Int.
