ATM NIC including small switch

Hei,

I have a special application where I have many nodes in serial,
and each of these nodes need to insert/extract cells from a
ATM "highway/at-pipe". So I need something like this :

Does anyone know of a chip like "Insert/Extract Cells"??
It can probably be implemented with a small switch ++, but
I would like as much as possible of the above to be integrated
in as few chips as possible.

I appriciate any help!!

I am also interested in any company which would be able to help
me out with a solusion (design/engineering/consultancy)
