More exactly you need a minmal LANE V2.0 client. Minimal in this
context means that the client only has to support the mandatory new
features of LANE 2.0: extended TLV set, TLVs in ARPs, changed
configuration variables, new LE_ARP and LE_NARP options and (prob.
most important for implementing MPOA) extended API to higher layers.
The LEC does not need QoS support, SIG 4.0 support, LLC-multiplexed
data direct VCs and multicast services.
