That is true, but there still exists the problem of requiring different QoS
with voice than with data.  You can have lots of jitter in data, but you can
not allow any information to be lost, where as voice is the opposite.  So this
may cause a problem even if AAL2 will allow data to be multiplexed with voice
in this way.  Could you supply a link where more info on the new AAL2 can be
found?
