I could read the other replies to this post due to the spammer.

IBM and possibly others have extensions to there LANE v2 implementations to
allow short cuts to be set up between elans so that ATM attached devices in
different elans can establish a data direct svc.  IBM calls it super elans
for bridging and MPOA for IP.
