Hi Bharat Bhushan Kaul'
 Actually ,After Reading ATM Forum LUNI 2 specs, i think that The
selective Multicast server you
have mentioned is really a nother BUS in the same ELAN and this is what
is called LAN Network-Network Interface (LNNI).
the LEC setup the default MulticastSend VCC to the primary BUS and the
BUS in turn setup
the MulticastForward VCC to the LEC.
the LEC can setup additonal MulticastSend VCC to other BUSs by the same
way the default multicastsend VCC is setup.

when the LEC want to multicast , it send on selectiveMulticastSend VCC
and if not found it
keep sending on the defualt MulticastSend VCC.

In MPOA, the LEC make use Of the Multicast Adress Resolution Server
(MARS) and the MCS (Multicast Server) (this Model is introduced in RFC
2022).
or obviously the LEC can etablish pt2mpt directly to destination(this is
called VC Mesh);

thanks
