Traffic parameters (see UNI 3.1 or better TM 4.1) describe the
course of the user cell rate with time. For the constant bitrate
service category, e.g., it takes only one traffic parameter, the
Peak Cell Rate. Other service categories need different sets of
traffic parameters.
QoS-Parameters are cell loss ratio, cell transfer delay, cell
delay variation and three more less important ones. They can be
measured and a network can commit itself to deliver traffic
obeying the (via UNI/PNNI) signalled figures.
