Hi vivek,

EFCI is second bit in the GFC field of atm header.

In the ATM header GFC field is 3 bit field.

GFC[2:0]

If GFC[2] is turned on then that is OAM cell. so, values 100,101,110,111
represents OAM cells
If GFC[1] is turned on then it will indicate congestion . i,e is 010  is EFIC
BIT turned ON.
IF GFC[0] is turned on alone it will be used for indicating END of PACKET BIT
In the AAl5 packet.
