Yes. An additional tip: when using vic, sliding the Quality bar to the right (from default 10 towards highest quality 1) improves the resolution of the image. We experimented this past week during the AUV 96 multicast and found that qualities of 2 or 3 were plenty adequate to produce readable video. Bringing Quality back down during discussions was similarly helpful by capturing more of peoples' gestures and expressions. As usual, slides which are unreadable to people in the room (too busy, font too small, etc.) also tend to be unreadable over video. > Also, the secretariate would GREATLY appreciate it if you followed the > presentation guidelines in > http://www.ietf.cnri.reston.va.us/instructions/slides.html and > http://www.ietf.cnri.reston.va.us/instructions/multicast.html. > > If you want time on the agenda, and you haven't yet contacted us, please > send email to malis@nexen.com and swallow@nexen.com. all the best, Don -- Don Brutzman Naval Postgraduate School, Code UW/Br Root 200 work 408.656.2149 Monterey California 93943-5000 USA fax 408.656.3679 Virtual worlds/underwater robots/Internet http://www.stl.nps.navy.mil/~brutzman
