Question on RFC1577

 Hi,

I'm a little bit confused by the ATMARP table aging mechanism in case of
multiple VC's associated with a single ARP entry.

1. Server case

Section 6.5 of RFC1577 states that the server must generate an inARP request
"on any open VC" associated with that entry.
Should I read that an inARP request must be sent on all the VC's associated to
the ARP table entry or a single inARP request sent on any VC is sufficient to
revalidate the entry ?

2. Client case

In order to revalidate an ARP entry, the client must send an ARP request to
the server. This suggests that this revalidation process applies to the ARP
entry and not to each individual VC associated to this table entry.
How should we handle that ?

Thanks in advance
