Bora,

This draft seems to provide only a means to reduce the number of
labels required to provide backup by allowing shared backup tunnels.
It is applicable to any technique that involves local protection as
opposed to ingress protection.  It does not preclude doing ingress
protection.

I don't understand your objection.
