As someone trying to design and implement either or both of a COS mechanism
and a QoS structure for an MPLS/VPN network running on 7200's, I'd
appreciate some pointers to some material that puts it all together with
real examples. Something other than the Cisco docs, that is.
There is no single comprehensive discussion that I can find that uses all
the _potential_ mechanisms available. I've got an existing MPLS network
with VPN's that could benefit from some immediate TE, where I also need to
set up a CoS/QoS structure. Nothing I've found shows how these are all
going to work together, so at this point I'm assuming an either/or
situation.
I'm not talking about a label stacking discussion, but a how to beat the
configuration nightmare and deal with the operational complexity. At the
least some good example configs with all this combined would be instructive.
