Subject: REG: MPLS on Cisco routers.

Dear All,

I am looking out to figure out whether the Cisco 3640 router will support the following

1. TE with OSPF support

yes

2. LDP

no (only 12.2T will have this and this is near future)
current versions on 36xx and 26xx only run TDP

72xx,75xx and GSR run LDP on version 12.0.14ST

A doc on the Cisco site states that the above mentioned is possible on the Cisco 3600 series with the following IOS

versions -

12.0(11)S and 12.1(3a)T.  those versions in general support ospf-TE not necessarily on the 36xx.

use 12.1.5T5 or higher and you need enterprise plus

with best regards

Alexander
