Hi David, Reg the LDP maybe what he means is that TDP was in production for a while while LDP relatively shorter. But I think what you are planning to do - meaning - to implement LDP is a good decision and will not require you to transition from TDP into LDP in the future. If he is a "MPLS expert" from cisco send me offline his name :).
