Title: RE: installing mpls-linux simulator.
Hi Laks,
A more appropriate mailing list would be https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mpls-linux-general
I believe Redhat 7.0 uses kernel 2.2.16 but you should be using kernel 2.4.13 to compile this code. You may check the archive of the above mailing-list to obtain more help.
For more MPLS implementation links, check under MPLS Code http://www.mplsrc.com/vendor.shtml

Subject: installing mpls-linux simulator.
Hi All,
I tried to install the MPLS in RedHatLinux 7.0 which i got from
sourceforge site.
But patch fails with saying as given below.
[root@capslnxsrv2 linux]# patch -p1 <
../mpls-linux-1.0/patches/linux-mpls.diff
can't find file to patch at input line 4
Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?
The text leading up to this was:
--------------------------
|diff -uNr --exclude=CVS mainstream/drivers/net/ppp_generic.c
mpls-linux-1.0/dri
vers/net/ppp_generic.c
|--- mainstream/drivers/net/ppp_generic.c Tue Oct 30 20:17:50 2001
|+++ mpls-linux-1.0/drivers/net/ppp_generic.c Tue Oct 30 20:21:11 2001
Any other MPLS simulator available ?
I have doubt whether 7.0 is sufficient or not ?
Any pointers pls ?
Thanks in Advance,
Laks.
