I tend to think IS-IS will be preferred for IPv6.
For MPLS, neither OSPF or ISIS has obvious advantage. Just choose the one in
your expertise.

i thought ietf as well as cisco, and juniper have stated in many papers that
ospf was the preferred IGP for MPLS AND IPV6.

can some one provide url's providing specific references as to which IGP one
should run either
in PE or P core routers?

There was a Cisco paper a while back that seemed to be pushing IS-IS,
but I have not seen a push toward any preferred Interior Routing Protocol
in recent publications. The old paper probably was an anomaly.
