Luca's draft is describing point to point transport and it's
encapsulation for carrying L2 traffic end to end. That is the same type
of application as already shipping for some time in both Juniper's CCC
or Cisco's AToM. 

What I call L2VPNs and was responding to was Kireeti's draft automating
multipoint provisioning of such a pipes (incl recent Juha's comments).
