Durga,

I found nothing in the email that you were responding to that warrants your
sanctimony. I found the links useful, and am puzzled what it was that you
think he was selling. After having to set up procmail rules to weed out the
"unsubscribe" messages from those formerly on this list (at least I hope it
is now formerly) that were under the mistaken assumption that this is a
majordomo, it was refreshing to see an on-topic series of questions that
wasn't some puerile pigeon-English query from a CS student that took a wrong
turn at IP in the Madras Academy.

If you persist in seeing marketing where there is content, you will banish
whatever remaining usefulness this list may possibly have. Frankly, MPLS
research and development has primarily been done at the behest of vendors to
serve business models... their own or their customers. I have always been
puzzled by those engineers that think that good engineering can take place
in a vacuum apart from the business models it serves. Working for UUNET of
all places, a company that has peering policies driven strictly by dollars
and cents, I find it peculiar for you to take to task the good listmembers
that spend their own blood, sweat and tears to advance their position.
"Remove the plank from one's own eye..." Perhaps DILLETANTE-L might be a
more suitable forum for your tirade.

Have a nice weekend.

Best regards,

Geoff Zinderdine
