Hi all,

A question on IPv6,

can i use IPv6 networks as an extension from IPv4....

for exapme i have 192.168.1.0/16 which i wish to subnet much further ..mebbe
300 subnets...

so can i have 1 interface on ipv4 and ipv6 as a "subnetted" network of ipv4?

for example: c0:a8:01:01:01:00/40 can be a subnet of the above....

is this possible..or is ipv6 ever intending to work in this direction..so
that i can continue using my existing ipv4 networks and club them with ipv6?
