There are two Martini drafts; one is signalling, one is
encapsulation.  There are various other drafts talking about different
types of signalling to solve different problems, but AFAIK every new
proposal uses Martini encap.

This mode is defined for FR, but there are no implementations that I
know of.  rfc3034.  And it's not that a switch performs "mpls
labeling" (which to me implies label push), but that you can use the
VCI/DLCI value as a label.  Eliminates overlay topologies over ATM/FR
cores.

Also add #4 - ATM/FR in the backbone in what is called "frame mode"
(as opposed to "cell mode" in #3), carrying MPLS packets just like IP
packets are carried.
