...a client asking for 2 VPNs ...would
obviously mean IP addresses overlap.
why 2 VPNs is a better question...... i guess... if
u dont mind me asking..

the concept is fine, can u give me a specific
application?
why not simply use public internet IPs for
those places we need to NAT?

In VRF A there aren't original IP address of B (or C) but the IP
address cofigured for NAT in B (or C).
VRF in B (or C) advertise NOT original IP but only NAT pool IP
Address !

Hi Ridolfi,
Yes, it is possible that the traffics are
only between A-B and A-C. But, if B and C have the same IP space, when a
terminal in A want to send a packet to 10.0.0.2, how can it tells it's
the 10.0.0.2 in B or 10.0.0.2 in C? It has no idea of VPN.

PE router
Hi Sylvia,
for extranet service we have 3 VPNs; VPN A is the central
office, B and C are 2 branch , and 2 VPNs whit same
IP space; it's possible only the traffic A-B, and A-C; In the VRFof
VPN A is not possible to have the same
network for VPNs B and C.
The idea is to use NAT in B or C and to advertise the NAT Pool from
B or C to A.

Hi,
Sorry, what do you mean by "natting IP
between 2 VPN"?
The private IP addresses are seen only
inside VPNs. One VPN has no any idea about the IP address
in the other VPN.
For the PE router, it only knows
VPN-IPV4 address family.

PE router
Hi all,
Is it possible to use NAT feature for natting IP between 2 VPN
?
Any idea about the restriction on cisco site:"Inside VPN to VPN
with NAT is not supported" ?
