Hi As far as i know, the msfc ( Cat6500 ) doesn't have support for mpls, not as P router and not as PE router. If you want to enable mpls for the cat 6500 you need to add an OSM card to it ( flex wan card might work as well, but i'm not sure ). The osm is a card that can come with various i/o interfaces, like 4 gig e interfaces or pos interfaces and it enables support for mpls due to pxf processors that are on the card. hope this helps Amos Rosenboim ----- Original Message ----- From: <alaerte@embratel.com.br> To: <mpls-ops@mplsrc.com> Sent: Thursday, July 11, 2002 9:27 PM Subject: [MPLS-OPS]: VPN MPLS > Hi, > > I am looking for information about VPN MPLS with Cisco MSFC. > > I am not sure if it is possible to use VPN MPLS in this platform or if > there is an alternative to set up private networks across a MSFC Core. > > I would appreciate any help ? > > Thanks in Advanced, > > Alaerte Gladston Vidali > > > > ------- > The MPLS-OPS Mailing List > Subscribe/Unsubscribe: http://www.mplsrc.com/mplsops.shtml > Archive: http://www.mplsrc.com/mpls-ops_archive.shtml ------- The MPLS-OPS Mailing List Subscribe/Unsubscribe: http://www.mplsrc.com/mplsops.shtml Archive: http://www.mplsrc.com/mpls-ops_archive.shtml
