Hi,

All the routers, have "TTL - Propogation" on. My question is, In output 1 as given below - , When i trace from PE1 - PE3.

PE1#trace 211.8.1.12

Type escape sequence to abort.
Tracing the route to  (211.8.1.12)

 1  *  *  *
 2  *  *  *
 3  211.8.99.133  28 msec *  28 msec

Hop 1 is from PE1 - P1. Hop 2 is from P1 - P2. Now I am seeing no outputs in these two stages & only Hop 3 shows the address of PE3.

Similarily in output 2, when I trace from PE1 - PE2.

PE1#trace 211.8.1.3

Tracing the route to (210.4.0.3)

 1 211.6.3.5 [MPLS: Label 58 Exp 0] 312 msec 32 4 msec 312 msec
 2 211.6.3.2 304 msec *  304 msec

I see perfect output, & also i do find the Label allocation happening in Hop1.

Kindly advise, as to why this difference in the two outputs prevail.
