I have a question,and I hope you can help me clarify it.Thanks in advance!
As I know,IETF started to standardize the MPLS in 1997,but the RFC about MPLS came forth until 2001,Why?
Why IETF issued almost hundred drafts about MPLS,while the RFC can not appear?Does this mean there are some limitation in MPLS?Now I can see serveral MPLS productions,but why MPLS has not populized?
Can MPLS replace IP forward or ATM switch in future?
