Hello all,
Thanx for all ur help...... I 'll be really happy if i am enlightened on the foll questions...

1.How is the Ingress router and Egress router identified in an MPLS domain.I assume that in an MPLS domain the LSR which recieves a paket first from outside the domain is an Ingress router. How does the packet entering thru this ingress router know how to ask for a label and reach the egress router requesting for it.How is the egress router identified or what is the protocol behind it.
Also what makes the Ingress ask for a label(DOD ) and what decides that the path shud use unsolicited distribution.

2.Can a hub/switch (which is centrally)connected between 3 LERs in a star nw topology be treated just like a normal LCR.

3.Can I push and pop implicit NULL label?CAn I push a NULL label and then another label(say 2) upon the the pushed
NULL label.Does this make a meaningful label stack.

THanx a lot

Vicky
