I would like your help on the following:

GKP---ERX---7500---3660

MPLS is active between 7507 & ERX.

pe-7507#sh mpls ldp discovery
Local LDP Identifier:
    10.0.1.252:0
Discovery Sources:
    Interfaces:
        ATM4/0/0.1 (ldp): xmit/recv
            LDP Id: 10.0.1.253:0
        ATM4/0/0.2 (ldp): xmit/recv
            LDP Id: 10.0.1.254:0

We are interested in atm4/0/0.2.

Also :

pe-7507#sh mpls ldp neighbor

        LDP discovery sources:
          ATM4/0/0.2, Src IP addr: 10.0.1.5
Addresses bound to peer LDP Ident:
          10.0.1.1 10.0.1.5 10.0.1.21

pe-7507#sh mpls interfaces
Interface IP Tunnel Operational

ATM4/0/0.2 Yes (ldp) No Yes

And to ERX side:

RND_ERX1:LAB-BB#sh mpls interface
Interface atm9/3.3 Up
 RSVP not configured
LDP enabled with profile default, CR-LDP disabled
IP interfaces on this MPLS interface:
    10.0.1.21/30

 MPLS Statistics:
Rcvd: 0 failed lbl lookup, 0 octets, 0 hcOctets
         0 pkts, 0 hcPkts, 0 errors, 0 discards
   Sent: 0 octets, 0 hcOctets, 0 pkts
         0 hcPkts, 0 errors, 0 discards

Interface atm9/3.1 Up
 RSVP not configured
LDP enabled with profile default, CR-LDP disabled
IP interfaces on this MPLS interface:
    10.0.1.1/30
Session to 10.0.1.253 is operational (active)
Session negotiated LDP advertisement mode is Downstream Unsolicited

 MPLS Statistics:
Rcvd: 0 failed lbl lookup, 4638 octets, 0 hcOctets
         87 pkts, 0 hcPkts, 0 errors, 0 discards
   Sent: 0 octets, 0 hcOctets, 0 pkts
         0 hcPkts, 0 errors, 0 discards

Interface atm9/3.2 Up
 RSVP not configured
LDP enabled with profile default, CR-LDP disabled
IP interfaces on this MPLS interface:
    10.0.1.5/30
Session to 10.0.1.252 is operational (active)
Session negotiated LDP advertisement mode is Downstream Unsolicited

 MPLS Statistics:
Rcvd: 0 failed lbl lookup, 120708 octets, 0 hcOctets
         669 pkts, 0 hcPkts, 0 errors, 0 discards
   Sent: 0 octets, 0 hcOctets, 0 pkts
         0 hcPkts, 0 errors, 0 discards

We are interested in atm9/3.2 interface.

The network between GKP-ERX is 10.0.1.24 /30. From the 3660 and when MPLS is
active i can not do a ping to 10.0.1.25 (which is serial interface of the
ERX). By disabling MPLS everything works fine.

As far as label exchange is concerned :

pe-7507#sh mpls forwarding-table 10.0.1.24
Local Outgoing Prefix Bytes tag Outgoing Next Hop
tag tag or VC or Tunnel Id switched interface
23 29 10.0.1.24/30 0 AT4/0/0.2 point2point
pe-7507#sh mpls forwarding-table 10.0.1.25
Local Outgoing Prefix Bytes tag Outgoing Next Hop
tag tag or VC or Tunnel Id switched interface
23 29 10.0.1.24/30 0 AT4/0/0.2 point2point

ERX LABELS:

RND_ERX1:LAB-BB#sh mpls forwarding destination 10.0.1.24 255.255.255.252

LSP tail-0a000118-30-22949 for 10.0.1.24/255.255.255.252
  In label 29 on atm9/3.1
    0 pkts, 0 hcPkts, 0 octets
    0 hcOctets, 0 errors, 0 discardPkts

LSP tail-0a000118-30-22954 for 10.0.1.24/255.255.255.252
  In label 29 on atm9/3.2
    296 pkts, 0 hcPkts, 58268 octets
    0 hcOctets, 0 errors, 0 discardPkts

We are interested in the second entry which is the link to 7500.

But:

RND_ERX1:LAB-BB#sh mpls forwarding destination 10.0.1.25 255.255.255.255
RND_ERX1:LAB-BB#

I believe that it has something to do with the ERX configuration.

The ERX conf is as follows:

ERX has the folowing commands and the documentation is not very clear on
them:

RND_ERX1:LAB-BB(config)#mpls topology-driven-lsp ?
ip-interfaces Enable the creation of IP interfaces over LSPs
ip-profile Configure the profile for IP interfaces on top of the
                 topology-driven LSP
  <cr>

RND_ERX1:LAB-BB(config)#mpls topology-driven-lsp ip-
RND_ERX1:LAB-BB(config)#mpls topology-driven-lsp ip-i
RND_ERX1:LAB-BB(config)#mpls topology-driven-lsp ip-interfaces ?
access-list Configure an access-list for the LSP prefixes
egress Create IP interfaces over egress LSPs only
host-only Create IP interfaces only over LSPs to host addresses
ingress Create IP interfaces over ingress LSPs only
prefix-list Configure an prefix-list for the LSP prefixes
  <cr>

I wonder if somebody could help me.

Thanks in advance,

Panos.
