Edmund,

RPR is being standardized by IEEE 802.17 working group. It has passed the WG
ballot in last month's IEEE plenary meeting in San Francisco.

As far books, I think it is a little early in the game to be publishing a
book without the standard passing some milestones. But most of the core
sections in the standard have more or less stabilized. You can get detailed
information about the status of RPR progress and presentations at the
following website.
http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/17

Unfortunately, the draft standard document (~650 pages) is not accessible
unless you have attended WG meeting at this point. Once the standard gets
finalized, it will be made available to public as per IEEE rules.

I know that this is not the correct forum to address these questions, but I
really need some help on 802.17 RPR..

Anyone know any good books on RPR
