Fwd: does this gear support mpls?

Rick, P routers are not a lot fun to watch, particularly if you are going 
to try MPLS VPNs. I would not bother as you have it drawn, but rather make 
4 PE routers with crossover cables between. Unless you are a stickler for 
seeing all sorts of different labeling possibilities...Also, if you do VPNs 
you will need two CE routers, so there is your 4 in line.

Very generally speaking (I can feel the cringing) any IOS after 12.1, 
either Enterprise or Provider. You will have to plow around the Cisco site 
to find the particulars for the given platform.

As to where they should go, if all you are doing is studying it won't much 
matter as long as the routers have the memory to load the images. You are 
not doing speed tests I presume.

There is plenty of written material both on the Cisco website and in the 
bookstores. Info should be no problem
