Hello Everybody,

 Use of Loopback Address :-
   1) for defining policies (like routing protocols,
security -- AAA ) on routers

 Why ?
-- independent of status of physical interfaces on
routers
-- always UP irrespective of the status of physical
interfaces as loopback address is a software address.
-- Goes DOWN (Unreachable) only when the router is
powered off or crashes or reboots.

 Regards,
 Ravindra
