There are two places that ISIS and MPLS overlap.

1. ISIS as an IGP in an MPLS core that uses MPLS-TE. This needs the traffic engineering
extensions of ISIS and is defined in:
   http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-isis-traffic-04.txt

2. ISIS as the PE/CE protocol in an MPLS-VPN
   (http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-ppvpn-rfc2547bis-03.txt)

Hope this helps.
