Vishal,

A LSP is unidirectional. To have a bidirectional data transfer, two LSPs need to be setup; one for the “forward path” and the other for thr “backward path”

Regards,

Vinay.

Subject: [MPLS-OPS]: Forward/Backward Paths ?

Hello All,

Does a LSP constitute seperation between the Forward and Backward Paths ? So for a full duplex communication do we need seperate LSP's from Ingress to Egress ? Are the two independent or must coexist ? Please Clarify

Thanks in Advance

Vishal Malhan
