...and most of the time the 2 LSPs will follow the same path. Since the labels are assigned based on the IGP, the SPF algorithm will usually work the same way in both directions.

If you don't want the 2 LSPs to follow the same physical path, that is where MPLS Traffic Engineering comes into play.

A LSP is unidirectional. To have a bidirectional data transfer, two LSPs need to be setup; one for the forward path and the other for thr backward path

Does a LSP constitute seperation between the Forward and Backward Paths ? So for a full duplex communication do we need seperate LSP's from Ingress to Egress ? Are the two independent or must coexist ? Please Clarify
