Hi I feel if you want the end to end customer connectivity via a switch you can go ahead with it. Only problem is you have to extend LAN cable from your PE router to the Customer L2 switch. You can run Layer 3 MPLS VPN or Layer 2 MPLS VPN between PE router fastethernet port to the other end PE router fastethernet port as per your desire. I have tested the same.
