Doug,

Are you referring to multicast services over MPLS for non-IP packets?
What kind of enterprise networks are you talking about?

As far multicast MPLS services, I have not seen them deployed in the
enterprise networks. Traditionally enterprise networks used IP multicast for
broadcast of video and audio. However, there are numerous instances where
multicast MPLS has been used and is currently deployed in metro networks for
broadcast of ASI video and transparent LAN services.

Subject: [MPLS-OPS]: Support for MCAST over MPLS

I am currently researching the area of Multicast and MPLS. I am aware that
there is a need for enterprises to manage their own GRE tunnels across
service provider MPLS networks but would be grateful to anyone who could
highlight areas of work ongoing in the service provider or vendor arena,
regards direct support of Enterprise Multicast over MPLS networks (e.g. for
VoIP Music-On-Hold).
