Client IGP/Routing Loops?

All,

In our network the same client might connect their network to ours in multiple data centers.  We use RIP to communicate between the CE and our PE router.  In some cases the client has their own IGP.  If I receive routes from their IGP and then send them back to them at another site I would create a routing loop, yes?

Let's say the client IGP is EIGRP and connects to two different PE's.  The first CE redistributes EIGRP into RIP and sends it to my PE.  My first PE learns those routes and puts them into the client's VRF.  The other PE attached to the client learns those from the first PE and then sends them back into RIP and back to the client's second PE.

Would I not have to use distribute lists to prevent that from happening?

Erik
