Some of us live in a world where we use both, on a daily basis - even 
for MPLS, and even interoperable. Both IOS and JunOS have their
advantages and disadvantages, obviously.

Having said that - I have a strong Cisco background (having worked with
Ciscos for more than 10 years) and only started working with Juniper
routers this year. I have come to prefer the "JunOS way" of configuring
things in most cases. Yes, you get somewhat longer configs, but there are
good reasons for doing it this way too.
