Aw, come on!  The archives are littered with RFCs (not to mention IDs) that are 
"preoccupied" with IPX, etc.  As for whether or not they were truly preoccupied,
well...                                                       ^^^^^

As for ROUTING these protocols - and over ATM - yeah, you're probably right (I
heard once that there are social clubs for the anti-social)...
