Maybe RSVP and Q.2931, but not NHRP

I certainly mentioned only routers in my messages in this thread, but in
our case there will be hosts connected to the ATM LANs (which connect to
the MANs, which will shortly connect to the Scottish MAN Interconnect)
which might benefit from direct ATM connections a la NHRP rather than
multihop routed paths. 

Let me get this right: Juha is offering i-pnni as a substitute for r2r
nhrp?  Would hosts still use nhrp in that scenario?
