Routers are never attached to non-ATM networks? Surely you mean "every
router that has two ATM interfaces is also capable of switching between the
interfaces."

There are some things that still need to be explained about CSRs switching
across AS boundaries, in terms of application of policy, and in terms of
scaling of the number of virtual channels in the internet. Say multicast...
