I just attended a seminar by FORE systems today and they said that their new 'ForeRunner' switches support EFCI-based ABR flow control. I asked them if they have any plans to support ER-based ABR flow control. They said that they will ship such switches in early 1997. They claimed that they will be the first vendor to support ER-based flow control in the market. They said for more details you can refer to their homepage: http://www.fore.com I have some ad's for these switches. If you want more info. from their own ad's, then feel free to ask me for more info if you are interested. Mahmoud Kayali |
